In Loving Memory

Our sweet Festicles (Fest-eh-cleez) took her last gulp of fresh gasoline on Monday, September 8, 2008. She was, by all accounts, a survivor—making it through a front-end collision and a total head transplant with flying colors—three flying colors to be exact. In her dying days, she lost the use of her motor skills and suffered an inoperable transmission failure. Festicles is survived by a doting father, Jason, a patient mother, Caren, an adoring sister, Maizie, who would often sing of "Daddy’s car" while riding in Mommy’s car, and countless friends and admirers, near and far. Festicles has requested that her major organs be donated (or sold on eBay). Interment will follow at Ace’s Auto Salvage on Spicewood Springs Road. In lieu of flowers, a mechanic’s fund has been set up for Festicles’ new sister, a 1981 Mazda RX-7, adopted on September 14, 2008.

Oh, that is too funny! Tell Jason we're terribly sorry to hear about the passing of the Festiva. I can't wait to see pics of the new car.
