More of Florida

Maizie's favorite part of the whole trip were the Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty statues outside the Disney Store in Downtown Disney. She hugged them, kissed them and danced in front of them. Priceless.

Anderson was happy no matter where we were (even though he cut his first tooth during our day at Epcot). He has now officially been dubbed "Anderson Trooper" for smiling and giggling and laughing in all situations.

We spent the second half of our trip in Tampa and went to the beach in Clearwater. It was Maizie's first real beach experience and she was giddy. She soaked in every part of that experience.

We're not very experienced beach-goers, so sand was EVERYWHERE. On bottles, pacifiers, and all over our baby's face. Thanks to Jason's family and my grandparents (who let us stay at their home near Tampa) for helping make this such a fun trip!

Oh what fun! I wish I had known you were going to the beach. I would have told you about Ft. Desoto (it's near clearwater). It was perfect for kids and families. They even had a playground and relatively nice showers. Glad you had a good time. And that next time you go you can save lots of money by just going to DT Disney ;).

But you didn't include the part about Maizie referring to the sand at the beach as "hot snow." How else are people to know that she is being true to her Yankee heritage?

Man, looks like you had tons of fun. I must say, that Maizie looks like she has been going to the beach daily based on the pic that you posted of her on the beach!:)
