Because each one of them has their own sandy claws?
Everyone knows that lobsters are inherently shellfish, therefore it's difficult for them to share anything. Also, the developmentalist in me knows that lobsters seldom live over 2 to 3 years and one has difficulting in developing the skill of sharing until they develop the skill of cooperative play, around 3 or 4 years of age. So there you have it...the expert opinion.
