Christmas Cheer

Stockings were hung o'er the TV with care...

Maizie's big present--a kitchen Jason and I made her from an old kitchen cabinet from the Habitat for Humanity ReStore. My family helped round out her kitchen collection and she has been cooking us meals ever since.

The day after Christmas, Maizie made a FEAST for her baby dolls' birthday, complete with a loud rendention of "Happy Day Day!" and horse as the main course (look closely).
On the Saturday after Christmas we had ANOTHER haul of gifts. Maizie played "Santa" and brought all the gifts to the right people. She was excited about every gift given and received. My favorite moment was when my cousin, Brian, opened up a package and Maizie screamed, "PANTS! You got pants!"
Maizie also thought it was fun to put all the bows on Mommy.
All in all, it was a very blessed time. I'm so glad my family came in from all over the country to be with us and spoil us rotten!

Here are some more pics from the festivities if you're interested: http://picasaweb.google.com/carengeorge/Christmas2008#

Love the kitchen. You guys are so creative. How cool is it that Maizie can say she has a one of a kind kitchen made by her parents!?!!
